Steve Reffett is member-in-charge of the natural resources group.  He works and advises many of the independent oil and gas producers in the Illinois Basin.  Steve has specialized in natural resource accounting and taxation for most of his professional accounting career.  He was the University of Evansville adjunct professor of oil and gas accounting in their minerals land management program. Stephen Simpson, tax manager, has a Masters in Business Administration.  Prior to becoming an accountant, Steve owned an oilfield services company.  He has utilized his first hand knowledge and understanding of the oil and gas industry while developing his tax knowledge of the industry.  This combination of oilfield know-how and tax knowledge serves our clients well. Beth Magruder works with the natural resources group and has a background in coal accounting and taxation. Sandra Wells has been to the WolfePak Oil and Gas Software training course.  She uses the WolfePak Software for oil and gas joint interest billing, revenue distributions, and accounting.
